Relevant Experience:
  • 2+ years experience Service-Now as a System Administrator and Programmer/Analyst
  • 5+ years experience with IT Service Management Tools such as HP Service Center, BMC Remedy, CA Service Operations Management
  • 2+ years of Web services integration design, build and test experience
  • 3 + year experience with IT Service Management Process and Tool Configuration and Administration
  • Knowledge of ITIL V2 & V3 foundational concepts and processes
Technology Skills:
  • 3 + year experience with Web Technologies (JAVA Script, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP)
  • Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory
  • Web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3)
  • Experience on Integration (Web Services, SOAP, HTTP, MID)
  • Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle
  • Working knowledge and experience with documentation, data & reporting tools including Excel, Access, Crystal Reports
  • ITIL V3 Foundations – Mandatory
  • ITIL V3 Practitioner Release & Control – Desired
  • ITIL V3 Practitioner Support & Restore - Desired
  • ServiceNow – System Administrator
  • ServiceNow – Certified Implementation Specialist
Desired Service-Now Skills:
Ability to perform configurations and customizations of Service-Now applications, e,g. Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management
Requirements Gathering:
  • Ability to gather project requirements during pre-sales efforts
  • Build proposal estimations
  • Build or re-engineer existing workflows
  • Build tasks associated to new requirements
  • Work closely with Engagement Management to providing necessary information to build milestones and project task execution
Design (functional specification), configure, script, test, deploy:
  • Forms
  • Business Rules
  • Workflow Scripting
  • Tables
  • Client Scripting
  • UI Policy Scripting
  • Web services (System Integration)
Skill Details:
  • Create new applications, modules, and tables
  • Activate a plug-in
  • Personalize and create forms and fields
  • Build reports, gauges, and homepages
  • Set up Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and monitor SLA workflows
  • Create and track Service Catalog requests, and items with variables
  • Create, monitor, modify, and publish Service Catalog workflows with approvals
  • Follow the notification process back to the Business Rule
  • Import data into the instance
  • Create and use update sets to facilitate moving customizations between systems
  • Search, populate, and customize the Knowledge Base
  • Create an Access Control Rule (ACL)
  • Create global controls for attachments and cookies
  • Create a chat room and set up help desk chat
 Some travel is required but is mostly local, NJ/NY/CT/PA
Must have good communication skills and enjoy talking with clients and helping them transform their operation.
